Money raising exercise....Now that Kirklees Metropolitan Council have taken over responsibility for traffic management from the police with Traffic Attendants I have never ever seen as many on patrol (or was that prowl)? in all the years I have lived in Huddersfield
Where I live we have permit parking but the attendants are even round on a Saturday when the permit scheme is not in operation so what’s that all about?
I have also noticed the large amount of tickets being dispensed and the cynic in me wondered if this was a money raising exercise now, along with the speed cameras, humps and other acts of discrimination against the motorist but it couldn’t be - could it?
