No arrests have been made.......

Thomas Cook the travel company has today been charged over the deaths of the two British children in Corfu.

A Greek police chief said the UK holiday firm is accused of ‘negligence leading to manslaughter,’ adding: ‘No arrests have been made at this stage.’

As I understood the situation, these deaths came about because of a faulty gas appliance that had not been installed or maintained correctly so how can a British travel company that does not own the hotel be implicated?

It is to be hoped that the Greeks accept full responsibility for this tragedy and tighten up on what would appear to be poor maintenance and supervision.
