Mirfield's Very own Castle Hill Hotel??

Please can anybody advise me as to why Mr Sparkles is still carrying on with the building of his mansion. I thought that he had been told to stop as unless his appeal is won the house would have to be demolished.

Yet Charlotte's ice-cream palour which brings much joy to hundreds of families in the region are told to demolish their crazy golf site.
Surely this is madness what harm are they doing.

If Mr Sparkles does win his appeal then I can see this opening the floodgates to many more over sized families extending there homes in a unsightly fashion, is this the way ahead? surely not.
