Police chief Sir Ian Blair taped a private conversation......
It has emerged that Metropolitan police chief Sir Ian Blair taped a private conversation with Lord Goldsmith last September. Lord Goldsmith was unaware of this and is said to be "rather cross" and "somewhat dissapointed". Sir Ian Blair is held in a position of trust and to break that trust will surely risk him loosing that trusted position. Just what did he expect to achieve by this act, if the so called responsible end cannot hold a private conversation with the police authority then surely what is this telling us the mere public. Sir Ian Blair must consider his position as the Metropolitian Police do not need any more bad publicity, this in not a mistake this has been intended but for what purpose we ask ourselves? |
