Last week he was demonstrating outside the Whitehouse in Washington DC waving a Palenstinian flag and criticising UK and US foreign policy, ranting on about the big bad Israelis and issuing dire warnings to us all that if our country did not change course on foreign policy we could expect more terrorism from the radicalised young Muslims living here among us.
At the weekend Malik stepped up his rhetoric and warnings by putting his name to a letter published in the National Newspapers again critcising UK and US foriegn policy and calling for an end to the civilians in the currnet Middle East conflict - attacks that were incidentally caused by Hezbollah fighters attacking civilians in Israel. Just a minor fact Malik forgot to mention during his flag waving protest.
Then on Tuesday evening, he appears on national television in our own country trying quite badly in my view, to backtrack on the signing of the letter and calling on any Muslim living in Britian who does not like our rules, our foreign policy, our way of life to push off and find somewhere else to live. Well, we will all say hear, hear to that.
But is Malik being all things to all men? Why has he done a u-turn on this issue?
He is clearly sending mixed messages. One message to the "Muslim Brotherhood" that he so proudly cherishers by waving his flag and criticising his own goverment and that of the United States and not forgetting the big bad Israelis.
One message to the majority white indigenous population stating that any Muslim who does not like the rules and the foriegn policy of the white majority should move out and find somewhere else to live!
If the Conservatives of the Liberals or dare I say, even the BNP had made such comments, Malik would have fired off a solicitors letter I am sure of, or indeed invoked some clause in the Human Rights Act to condemn such wicked comments.
Let's just remind ourselves of one or two facts. First, let no one be in any doubt, Shahid Malik is a Muslim first and foremost.
I was present on election night when Malik accepted his election as MP for Dewsbury - he did so initially in a foreign language and uttering the words {quote align=} I am a Muslim}.
However Malik seems to be remebered, in his television apperance, that his first alliance as a member of the British Parliment is to Crown, the British state and the British people, not to any religion or specific group of people - how long will it last?
Malik is taking us for fool in my opinion, he thinks we cannot see through his charade. He makes frequent trips to Pakistan, he covets the Muslim brothehood and he is opposed to the US and UK foriegn policy and then tries to convince us all that he is on our side, We are all okay, Britain is great , our rules are wonderful and our foriegn policy is not that bad either and our friends in the United States, Israel and elsewhere are just misunderstood.
Come on Malik we know your game. You can rely on the Muslim brotherhood to vote for you at the next election regardless of your own goverments policy, as you rightly said on your election night I am a Muslim

I am a Muslim
what you are not so sure about is the vote in the white indigenous population whose vote you cannot be so sure of at the next election.
You can fool some of the people, some of the time Malik, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time!
