Drax power station demonstrations.
After listening to the news yesterday about the demonstration at the Drax power station I must confess that I do not see where some of the demonstrator’s spokespeople get their ideas from.
There is a lot of talk about ‘green and renewable power’ but no practical ideas as to how this can be achieved.
I do not know of any wave/wind/solar devices that can supply the megawatts of electricity that our homes and industry require so instead of demonstrating can I suggest that they get to university or work in industry to come up with practical solutions to the problems. |
