"paralysed by political correctness"
Tony Blair was accused yesterday (1st September) of being "paralysed by political correctness" after it emerged that
none of Britain's so-called preachers of hate have been prosecuted under the Government's new terror laws. Even British-born firebrand Abu Abdullah who praised the July 7 bombers and said he would "love" to kill British troops fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan has not been prosecuted even though legal experts said his comments were a clear breach of new legislation, yet no action has been taken. So why the soft attitude by this discredited government? It would seem that the ‘get tough on crime’ stance taken by Blair was nothing more than the usual spin we have come to expect from them. In view of the £300 million a year Labour has spent on spin, perhaps they should re-brand themselves as the centrifuge party! |
