Mr Golly comes to townLets sit back and wait for the ‘politically correct’ army to descend on Huddersfield once news escapes into the wild that golliwog dolls are on sale in the town.
Mrs Lomas, the shop owner will no doubt receive a visit from our local police force if a complaint is made to ensure that law and order is upheld. I wonder how long it will be before the local ‘thought police’ trawl our libraries to ensure that the books contained therein are ‘suitable’ for the upstanding citizens of our fair town and will not lead them down the paths of ‘non political correctness’. |
