A dangerous obstructionSpeed humps or bumps, build outs call them what you will, they are a dangerous obstruction to the highway and should be removed.
The 4X4 and company car drivers charge over them with impunity only slowing down when they get behind Mr or Mrs Sensible who have more respect for their vehicles and who have to pay for their repairs. More policing of our streets and roads is required, not more cameras, speed humps or bumps. These do not catch or deter the dangerous or inconsiderate driver, only the police can do that and only then by maintaining a physical presence, not sat in front of a surveillance monitor. |
