"There will be so much money coming in you won't know what to do with it"

Undercover probe reveals the ‘buckets of money' made from speed cameras. This was the headline in the Daily Mail on Sunday.

The sensational confession was made by the chief executive of Tele-Traffic, which supplies cameras to virtually every police force in Britain.

The Tele-Traffic boss, Jon Bond, who was until a few months ago the police Chief Superintendent in charge of speed cameras in Warwickshire, urged the Daily Mail undercover reporter to place an order and promised: 'There will be so much money coming in you won't know what to do with it’.

The so-called ‘speed partnerships’ even have targets for the number of motorists caught.

Anybody who still believes that road safety is their primary consideration is being very naïve.
